Grow Pediatrics has served the Twin Cities community for over 30 years. Opened in 1977 by Dr. Jane VanRoekel, the clinic's founding pediatrician and originally known as Dakota Pediatrics, Dr. VanRoekel believed that healthcare should be delivered in a family-focused atmosphere, with a strong relationship between provider and family.

In 2010, Lindsey Deeb, APRN, CNP, and Dr. VanRoekel's daughter-in-law, took over ownership and operation of the clinic and continues the tradition of family-focused healthcare. Not all pediatric providers in Minneapolis/St. Paul will strive to build a relationship with your family, but at Grow Pediatrics, it’s our top priority.

Just as our patients have grown over the years, so has Grow Pediatrics, bringing our unique pediatric care to more families and communities across the Twin Cities metro area. In 2017, we opened our Richfield-Minneapolis location. In 2026, we opened our Lakeville-Apple Valley location. Also in 2026, we merged with another pediatric group, All About Children Pediatrics, which shared our goals and care philosophy, and that clinic became our Eden Prairie location.

While we have grown over the years, we intentionally keep our locations small to foster the strong provider-family relationships that we are known for. That’s how we've quickly become one of the best pediatric healthcare providers in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. While corporate groups and larger practices have consolidated to increase profits at patients' expense, Grow Pediatrics has remained small and independent, continuing to provide the level of care and attention that all families and children deserve.
