Gitte Wengler
Pediatrician
Gitte Wengler, MD, is an experienced, board-certified pediatrician at Grow Pediatrics in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. She has over 30 years of experience, initially practicing in Hawaii before returning to her home state of Minnesota, where she has been caring for patients since 2002.
Gitte received her undergraduate degree from St. Olaf College and her medical degree from the University of Minnesota. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of Hawaii and has been practicing as a board-certified pediatrician since 1994.
Gitte enjoys guiding and helping parents and families navigate the wonderful yet sometimes challenging developmental milestones of childhood and adolescence. She finds developing strong relationships with patients, parents, and families to be the most satisfying part of being a pediatrician. Her clinical interests include asthma, allergies, ADHD, mental health, and infectious diseases.
Gitte lives in Wayzata and has three adult children. She enjoys traveling, skiing, reading, and having quiet dinners with family and friends.

Dr. Gitte Wengler is a 5 Star plus Pediatrician. I cannot say enough great things about her. I followed Dr. Wengler to Grow Pediatrics in Eden Prairie as she came very highly recommended to me. I brought my son to her for the first time for his well check up appointment and now just took my newborn son to her as well. Dr. Wengler was incredible with both my sons and I as she was very professional, knowledgeable, thorough with her exam, and took her time to answer all my questions and concerns. I never felt we were being rushed or just another patient. She made us all feel very comfortable and truly cared for. At the end of our visits, I always walk away feeling so grateful that I found such an exceptional Pediatrician for my sons and would highly recommend Dr. Wengler to all my family and friends.
