Marilou Pederson
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Marilou has been practicing as a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner since 1972. She received her R.N. degree in 1968 and worked as a registered nurse for 3 years at the University of Minnesota Hospitals in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. She then attended the pediatric nurse practitioner program at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Marilou’s interests include newborn care, ADHD/behavioral problems, foreign children and adoption, and injury-related concerns. Marilou was a founding member of All About Children Pediatrics, which joined Grow Pediatrics in 2026.
Marilou lives in Edina and has two spirited daughters, Kori and Kelsey. She enjoys traveling, cooking, gardening, and running. She has run three marathons in her career…none of which were very fast!
Marilou also has volunteered with Smile Network International Group, a humanitarian organization that provides life-altering reconstructive surgeries and related healthcare services to impoverished children and adults in developing nations, and remains active and involved with similar organizations.
